From Within the Forest

From Within the Forest is a series by Michał Woźniak that explores the transformative experience of immersing oneself in the natural world. By shifting the observer’s perspective, Woźniak captures the forest not just as a physical space but as a lens through which reality is both examined and obscured. The forest becomes a mask—an abstract rhythm that disrupts conventional views, allowing for a more universal and less rational perception. This shift in observation creates a narrative that transcends the immediate, inviting viewers to explore the unseen and often overlooked dimensions of nature.

The series was first exhibited at the Faculty of Forestry, Poznań University of Life Sciences, at Collegium Cieszkowskich in November 2018, highlighting Woźniak’s innovative approach to interpreting natural landscapes.
